Intelligent Degree Planner enables learners to visualize their possible paths to degree completion. Learner Progress helps them understand what they’ve completed and what remains so they can stay on track for graduation. Intelligent Degree Planner and Learner Progress work together to help learners plan their time accurately and efficiently.
Advisors access Intelligent Degree Planner in the CRM, and learners access it through Experience Cloud. Both experiences have the same intuitive user interface.
Learners can lay out courses on their pathways to graduation by year, term, and session by using an intuitive drag-and-drop canvas. They can also add placeholders as needed. For example, if a learner knows that they must choose from a group of elective courses but don't know which course they want to take, they can add a requirement placeholder and select a course later.
Providing a clear visual cue of whether a plan meets program requirements, the planner calculates and shows the number of planned, unplanned, and required units (as in credits, credit hours, or other learning measurements) in real time. Depending on configuration, learners can submit their completed pathway for approval and see status updates as their advisor reviews it.
To simplify planning for learners, advisors can create learner pathway templates to serve as a starting point. Advisors and students can stay up-to-date with learners’ progress as they proceed along their pathways with Learner Progress.
