Set Up the Student Success App
Configure Student Success in Education Cloud to provide proactive and personalized support to learners across academics, financial aid, careers, and life goals.

- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Set Up Education Cloud, and then select Set Up Education Cloud.
- Under Set Up the Student Success App, turn on Student Success. If prompted to confirm, click Turn On.Note When enabled:
- The Student Success app is available from the App Launcher.
- Configuration settings for the Timeline component are available. To use Timeline, enable it.
- Picklist values for Education Cloud are available for fields on objects case and program management objects.
- Create a support process.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Support Processes, and then select Support Processes.
- Click New.
- For Existing Support Process, select Master.
- Enter a support process name. For example, enter Student Advising.
- Optionally, enter a description for the support process.
- Save your work.
- Leave Case Status as is, and then click Save.
- Create case record types for learner advising.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Set Up Education Cloud, and then select Set Up Education Cloud.
- Under Create Advising Case Record Types, click Create Case Record Types.
- In Object Manager, on the Record Types page for Case, click New.
- For Existing Record Type, select Master.
- Enter a record type label and then press Tab to automatically populate the record type name.. For example, enter Health.
- For Support Process, select Student Advising.
- Optionally, provide a description for the record type.
- Select Active.
- Select profile permissions, and then click Next.
- Save your work.
- Create success teams for learners.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Set Up Education Cloud, and then select Set Up Education Cloud.
- Under Set Up Success Teams, click Set Up Success Teams.
- On the Success Teams page, click New.
- Enter a name for the success team.
- Select the case record type.
- Select a case team.
- Provide any other details, and then save your changes.
- Enable care plans for learners.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Set Up Education Cloud, and then select Set Up Education Cloud.
- Under Set Up Care Plans, click Enable Care Plans.
- On the Care Plan Settings page, turn on care plans.
- Enable Salesforce Scheduler.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Set Up Education Cloud, and then select Set Up Education Cloud.
- Under Set Up Salesforce Scheduler, click Set Up Salesforce Scheduler. See Enable Salesforce Scheduler for Education Cloud.
