The Salesforce Platform
Education Cloud is built on the Salesforce platform. This combination means that Education Cloud is equipped with features and capabilities that give you a 360-degree view of your prospects and students so that you can serve them best. And Education Cloud is secure, flexible, and customizable, letting you implement it in your institution and tailor it to meet your needs.
The Education Cloud Data Model
Enhance different aspects of the educational experience and institutional management with the Education Cloud data model. The model includes apps for Recruitment and Admissions, Academic Operations, Student Success, Mentoring, Alumni Relations, and Fundraising.
Recruitment and Admissions provides learners with a seamless experience from application to enrollment, while enabling staff to efficiently orchestrate the admissions process. With Academic Operations, you can manage your institution's academic offerings, including courses, programs, and custom learning options. Student Success gives you tools to support students in your institution, including program management and alerts that inform you about learner performance. Use Mentoring to create and manage mentoring programs, strengthen relationships between mentors and mentees, assign benefits, and manage assessments. Alumni Relations lets alumni stay connected to your school and other alumni. It also lets staff manage and interact with alumni in a central place. With Fundraising, engage donors, raise funds, and drive outcomes with tools for strategic planning and data-driven insights.
The Toolkit
To automate cumbersome, paper-based processes, Education Cloud includes a collection of components and tools that put the platform and data model to work.
The toolkit includes Omnistudio, Action Plans, Actionable Relationship Center (ARC), Business Rules Engine, among other components, services, and tools. For example, you can create dynamic applications and create scoring rubrics to speed up the admissions process.

Experience Cloud
Begin by configuring the Experience Cloud Education Portal template, and provide a single, secure online portal that applicants, students, alumni, and even learners with overlapping roles can use to access nearly everything they need to engage with your institution. Configure pages and components and control access to them based on your institution's processes and your constituents' needs.
