Validate the Migrated Data

Plan and test the migrated data to ensure its accuracy and completeness.

We recommend that you create test plans for each run, and for post migration of all data. The test plans must include comprehensive data validation procedures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.

After each successful Data Processing Engine definition run, validate the migrated data:

• Verify the record counts.
• Run data quality checks.
• Compare the migrated data against your current system's data.

Note Data migration to Education Cloud doesn’t remove data from the source objects. You must update your user profiles, reports, and any other configurations to ensure that only the newly migrated data in Education Cloud is used and represented.
