Case
Case represents a behavior event and can have related Behavior Involvement records.

The Case object is used differently in EDA than it's used in standard Salesforce. It includes two fields that are unique to EDA that help you track behavior events. Category tracks the type of event, such as a code of conduct violation or other type of school violation. Location tracks where the event occurred, such as on campus or off campus. - Configure Case

- University—Track the theft of personal property from a dorm room.
- K-12—Track a bullying incident on a school bus.

Create a Case Record for a Behavior Event
Use these steps to create a case record for a behavior event in Education Data Architecture.

Click the Cases tab. If you don't see the Cases tab, from the App Launcher, find and select Cases, and click New.

Enter the Occurrence Date, Category, and Status for the behavior event. You don’t have to relate a Case with a particular Contact at this time. You’ll use Behavior Involvement records to relate people to the behavior event (Case) later.

Fill in optional fields as needed.

Click Save.
