Process a Gift Batch in Nonprofit
Add gift entries to a gift batch to process them all at once. For a gift batch to process successfully, every gift entry must process without any errors.

| To process a gift batch: | View Developer Name system permission AND FundraisingAccess permission set OR |
- From the App Launcher (
), find and select Gift Batches. - Click an unprocessed gift batch.
- To simulate the batch processing, click Batch Dry Run. Otherwise, click Process Batch.
- To review the status of the processing, refresh your browser.
- Depending on the status of your batch, take one of these actions.
| Gift Batch Status | Description | Next Action |
|---|---|---|
| Unprocessed | The gift batch is yet to be processed. | Dry run or process the gift batch. |
| In Progress | The processing of the gift batch is in progress. You can’t initiate a dry run or actual processing a gift batch that's in progress. | Periodically refresh the browser to check the updated status. |
| Processed | The gift batch processing completed without any errors. | In the Related tab, review the processing details for each gift entry. In the Details tab, review the updated field values, such as the last processed date time. You can’t add an entry to a gift batch or edit an entry in a gift batch after the batch is processed. |
| Partially Processed; Failed | Some or all gift entries in the batch processed with errors. | To see which gift entry or entries failed and why, in the Related tab, review the Gift Processing Status and Gift Processing Result values for each gift entry. Resolve the errors, and then process the gift batch again. |
