Set Up Payment Methods

Customize the Payment Method field to add the types of payments your organization receives.

Donations come in many forms, from cash to stock to in-kind gifts, and some don’t even take the form of standard currency. GEM supports any kind of donated gift, but only a few are included by default. You can add more by customizing the Payment Method field.

1. Click , then click Setup.

2. Click the Object Manager tab.

3. In the list of objects, click Payment.

4. Click Fields & Relationships.

5. Click Payment Method.

6. Scroll down to the Values related list and click New.

7. Enter values (one per line), then click Save.
