How Data Integrity Manages Address Standardization
Incorrectly formatted addresses are costly and can lead to undeliverable mail. Address standardization in Data Integrity helps you avoid incorrectly formatted addresses by making updates based on the specific standards of your locale's postal authority. This includes city names, street abbreviations, and more.
The only requirement is selecting your base country.
Schedule one-time or recurring address standardization updates to ensure that your constituent addresses meet local postal service standards. Address standardization changes the Address on the Household Account; unlike NPSP address verification, address standardization doesn't create a new Address record.
In addition to address standardization, you can also use address verification in NPSP to see if addresses exist when you try to add them. However, using both services may be more costly.
