-
Use Time Block on a Course Offering only if you don’t expect to use the Course Offering Schedule object, which tracks the same kind of data.
-
If you do use Time Block on a Course Offering and you create a Course Offering Schedule, the Time Block's Start Time and End Time on the Course Offering is not copied to the Start Time and End Time on the Course Offering Schedule records.
-
If you choose to use the Time Block on the Course Offering Schedule, the Start Time and End Time on the Course Offering Schedule automatically populates from the Time Block record. We recommend that you not manually update Course Offering Schedule values if you are using Time Blocks. Manual updates prompt an error asking you to adjust the start and end times to match the Time Block upon saving.
