Remove Custom Fields in Objects

Learn how to remove custom fields in objects.

1. In Setup, click the Object Manager tab, then click the object whose fields you want to remove.
2. Click Fields & Relationships.
3. Next to the field you want to remove, click , then click Delete. Note that you'll only see a Delete link next to fields that are safe to delete.

1. In Setup, enter Custom Settings in the Quick Find box, then click Custom Settings.
2. Click the name of the Custom Setting that has fields you want to remove.
3. Click Del next to the field.

1. In Setup, enter Custom Settings in the Quick Find box, then click Custom Settings.
   

   Note You may have a large number of custom settings. If so, we recommend sorting by the Namespace column so that you can easily find the right settings to remove.
2. Click Delete next to the Custom Setting you want to remove.
