          • Funding Program
            A Funding Program represents a thematic or strategic program that an organization is championing and providing funding for. A parent and numerous children Funding Programs can exist in a hierarchy.
          • Funding Request
            A Funding Request is an application for funding. This typically represents applications created and submitted for funding consideration by outside organizations or individuals, but can also be used for internal funding requests. A Funding Request can be linked to an Account, Contact, or User as the applicant.
          • Review
            A Review tracks a reviewer's status and feedback about a Funding Request.
          • Funding Request Role
            The Funding Request Role tracks Contacts related to a Funding Request. This allows you to add multiple Contacts to a single Funding Request.
          • Requirement
            Requirements are deliverables or milestones that are needed for the Funding Request to either be approved or closed.
          • Disbursement
            Disbursements are payments, or outgoing funds, that have been made or scheduled to be made to the funding recipient.
          • GAU Expenditure
            The GAU Expenditure object connects the Disbursement object to the General Accounting Unit object to show which General Accounting Unit the funds should be disbursed from.

          Funding Program

          A general education grant program and a scholarship fund are both examples of a Funding Program.

          Funding Request

          A Funding Request is an application for funding. This typically represents applications created and submitted for funding consideration by outside organizations or individuals, but can also be used for internal funding requests. A Funding Request can be linked to an Account, Contact, or User as the applicant.

          Sample Use for Funding Request

          A nonprofit seeking funding for an animal welfare program and a high school senior applying for a scholarship are both examples of Funding Requests.

          Review

          A Review tracks a reviewer's status and feedback about a Funding Request.

          Sample Use for Review

          The written feedback from a program manager or grant reviewer is an example of a Review record.

          Funding Request Role

          The Funding Request Role tracks Contacts related to a Funding Request. This allows you to add multiple Contacts to a single Funding Request.

          Sample Use for Funding Request Role

          A grants manager and an external consultant collaborating on an application is an example of using the Funding Request Role to add more than one Contact to a Funding Request.

          Requirement

          Requirements are deliverables or milestones that are needed for the Funding Request to either be approved or closed.

          Sample Use for Requirement

          An application and a letter of recommendation for a scholarship are both examples of a Requirement.

          Disbursement

          Disbursements are payments, or outgoing funds, that have been made or scheduled to be made to the funding recipient.

          Sample Use for Disbursement

          An initial payment of $2,500 to a grantee and a $1,000 payment to a scholarship recipient are both examples of a Disbursement.

          GAU Expenditure

          The GAU Expenditure object connects the Disbursement object to the General Accounting Unit object to show which General Accounting Unit the funds should be disbursed from.
