Install Outbound Funds Module
When you install Outbound Funds Module, you get a managed package that contains essential metadata and custom code. It's important to note that you can't modify the components, such as objects and fields. They're locked with limited edit access so that the managed package can be upgraded later.

Before You Install Outbound Funds Module

Before you install Outbound Funds Module, make sure you have:

An Enterprise or Unlimited Edition org with a Salesforce Platform license. If you don’t have a Salesforce org, you can sign up for an NPSP trial or a Nonprofit Lightning Enterprise Edition trial.

Lightning Experience enabled in your org. See How to Transition to Lightning Experience.

My Domain enabled in your org. See My Domain in Salesforce Help.

Chatter enabled in your org. See Chatter Settings in Salesforce Help.

Digital Experiences enabled in your org. This is only required if you want to create a fundseeker portal using Experience Cloud. See Enable Digital Experiences in Salesforce Help.
Decide Which Installer to Use
Understand the differences between the available Outbound Funds Module installers.
Outbound Funds Module has two different installers:

The Outbound Funds Module installer, which installs Outbound Funds Module. If you don’t need a fundseeker portal, this is the only installer you need.

The Outbound Funds Module Fundseeker Starter Portal Template installer, which is an optional and separate package designed to help you create a fundseeker portal, which is an Experience Cloud site. Make sure Outbound Funds Module is installed before using the Outbound Funds Module Fundseeker Starter Portal Template installer. This installer has two installation paths.

Use the Outbound Funds Module Fundseeker Starter Portal Template installer to create your own fundseeker portal from scratch. The installer includes:
- A fundseeker profile (Fundseeker Plus Login) with preconfigured object and field permissions that gives the fundseekers access to apply for funding.

A new Fundseeker Starter Portal Template to create a fundseeker portal from scratch.
- Several flows that automate steps in the application process for a fundseeker.

Use the Outbound Funds Module Fundseeker Starter Portal and Build Site installer if you want a fundseeker portal created for you. This installer includes everything from the Outbound Funds Module Fundseeker Starter Portal Template installer as well as:.

A pre-populated fundseeker portal called Fundseeker Portal.

A sharing set called FundseekerSharing that gives fundseekers access to view Funding Requests and Requirements

Install Outbound Funds Module
After you confirm that you have completed the prerequisites, you’re ready to install Outbound Funds Module.
Salesforce recommends installing and testing in a Sandbox environment or a Developer org before installing into a Production org. For more information, see Create a Sandbox in Salesforce Help.
Install Outbound Funds Module

Log out of all other Salesforce orgs. We recommend using an incognito window to ensure you install in the correct org.

Go to the Outbound Funds Module installer page.

Click Log In and select either Production or Developer Org or Sandbox Org.

Click Install Outbound Funds Module - View Details.
Note Outbound Funds Module - NPSP Extension installs if you use NPSP. -
Click Allow.

Click Install. You'll see a confirmation when the installation is complete.

To access the installed org, click View Org.
Install Outbound Funds Module Fundseeker Starter Portal Template

Log out of all other Salesforce orgs. We recommend using an incognito window to ensure you install in the correct org.

Go to the Outbound Funds Module Fundseeker Starter Portal Template installer page.
