Install Program Management Module
Complete the prerequisites and then install Program Management Module to get a managed package with essential metadata and custom code and an unmanaged Program Management Standard User Profile that you can assign to your program staff.
Components within the managed package, such as objects and fields, can't be modified. They're locked with limited edit access so that the managed package can be automatically upgraded.
For information about managed and unmanaged packages, see Understanding Packages in Salesforce Help.
