          Install Program Management Module

          Complete the prerequisites and then install Program Management Module to get a managed package with essential metadata and custom code and an unmanaged Program Management Standard User Profile that you can assign to your program staff.

          Components within the managed package, such as objects and fields, can't be modified. They're locked with limited edit access so that the managed package can be automatically upgraded.

          For information about managed and unmanaged packages, see Understanding Packages in Salesforce Help.

          • Before You Install PMM
            You must have a Salesforce org with My Domain enabled before you can install PMM. If you don't have a Salesforce org, we recommend starting with a Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) trial.
          • Install PMM
            Salesforce recommends installing in a Sandbox environment or a Developer org before installing into a Production org.

          Before You Install PMM

          You must have a Salesforce org with My Domain enabled before you can install PMM. If you don't have a Salesforce org, we recommend starting with a Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) trial.

          Before you install PMM:

          1. If you don't have an org, visit the NPSP trial page and sign up for a free trial of NPSP. If you already have an org, skip this step.
          2. Log in to your trial or existing org.
          3. Verify that My Domain is enabled, and if it's not, enable it. See My Domain in Salesforce help.

          4. Continue to the next section to install PMM.

          Install PMM

          Salesforce recommends installing in a Sandbox environment or a Developer org before installing into a Production org.

          For more information, see Create a Sandbox in Salesforce Help.

          1. Log out of all other Salesforce orgs. You may want to use an incognito window to ensure you install in the correct org.

          2. Go to the Program Management Module installer page.

          3. Click Install Program Management Management Module - View Details.

          4. Click Log In to Start Pre-Install Validation, then select Production or Developer Org or Sandbox or Scratch Org.

          5. Log in to the org.

          6. Click Allow.

          7. Click Install. You’ll see a confirmation when PMM installs successfully.

          8. Click View Org to access your new org.

          9. Complete all the steps in Required Post-Installation Tasks.
