Test the Student Success Chatbot
Thoroughly test the chatbot before activating it in your messaging channel or Experience Cloud site. Here are some tips on how to test the chatbot.
-
Create records for a test student, including Contact, Success Plan, and Task records.
-
Update the mobile phone number on the Contact record to a phone you have access to.
-
Assign Tasks to the Contact record, including Tasks that are completed and in-progress.
-
On the test student's Contact record, set the Bot Messaging Advanced Notice as 1 day. Then, change the preference through the chatbot.
-
Engage with the chatbot via SMS as the test student's Contact record. Use the quick action for the Contact to send an outbound text, inviting the student to engage with the bot. This means that you don't need to wait for the scheduled flow to run.
Test an Experience Cloud site by using a sandbox environment or a private website.
