          Set Up Pathways

          Set Up Pathways

Complete these tasks to get Pathways up and running in your Student Success Hub higher ed org.

          Note
Note Requires a Customer Community Plus or Customer Community Plus Login license, such as through Experience Cloud for Learner Success.

          Pathways Release Information

Like Student Success Hub, Pathways is a managed package. Version 1.1 was released with Student Success Hub 2.21. Unless otherwise noted at the beginning of the task, all setup tasks are required regardless of the version of Student Success Hub you originally installed.

If you don't know which version you started with, see Keep Student Success Hub Up-to-Date.

          Note
Note The tasks required to set up Pathways are listed here in the order in which you should complete them. Some of the tasks are quite complex, so sometimes we link to other, standalone articles for detailed instructions.

          Pathways Prerequisites

To use Pathways, umbrella Plan Requirements must specify either a Program Plan or a Parent Plan Requirement. In EDA Settings, verify that users can specify one or the other, but not both.

          1. On the Education Cloud Settings tab, in Education Data Architecture, click Settings.

            Note
Note If you don’t see the Education Cloud Settings tab, learn how to configure it in Education Cloud Settings in the EDA documentation.
          2. In EDA Settings, verify that Plan Requirement Hierarchy is selected. If it's not, click Edit.

          3. Select Plan Requirement Hierarchy.

          4. Save your changes.

          Install the Pathways Package

Install Pathways manually if you originally installed an earlier version of Student Success Hub.

          Note
Note The Pathways package installs automatically with Student Success Hub 2.21 and later.
          1. Go to the Pathways installer page.

          2. Log in to the correct Salesforce org.

          3. Wait for the installer to retrieve information about your org.

          4. Click Install.

The installation may take a while. Check your email for confirmation that the installation was successful.
