Set Up User Profiles for Staff and Admins
Configure profiles for support staff and administrative Student Success Hub users.
When configuring profiles, some admins prefer to work in the enhanced profile user interface while others prefer the original profile user interface. You can switch between the two in Setup. Search for and select User Management Settings, then turn the Enhanced Profile User Interface on and off as needed. The following instructions assume you're working with the enhanced profile user interface.
- Customize the Support Staff Profile
Clone the sample staff profile to preserve its permissions settings and get a good start at creating a custom profile for your support staff. - Enable App Access for Support Staff and Admins
App access is enabled on the support staff and System Administrator profiles included with Student Success Hub. If you're using different profiles, enable app access for them.

From Setup, in the Quick Find box, search for and then select Profiles.

Click New Profile.

On the Clone Profile page, for Existing Profile, select the sample support staff profile that SSH installed. Otherwise, select Standard User.

Enter a Profile Name, such as Support Staff, and save your profile.

Then, Configure K-12 Support Staff Permissions or Configure Higher Ed Support Staff Permissions.
Enable App Access for Support Staff and Admins
App access is enabled on the support staff and System Administrator profiles included with Student Success Hub. If you're using different profiles, enable app access for them.

From Setup, search for and then select App Manager.

Click the action menu for Student Success Hub and select Edit.
- Select User Profiles, and add your support staff and System Administrator profiles to Selected Profiles.

Save your changes.
