The Create Financial Deal Slack Channel Lightning Flow helps create Slack channels for
financial deal records automatically. The flow is installed as a standard flow template. You can
clone the template to customize it according to your business processes.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and
Unlimited editions that have Financial Services Cloud enabled.
User Permissions Needed
To open, edit, or create a flow in Flow Builder:
Manage Flow
To run a flow:
Run Flows
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows, and then select
Flows.
Click New Flow.
In the list of templates, select the Create Financial Deal Slack Channel template, and then
click Create.
Configure the Create Slack Channel and Invite Member action elements with Slack workspace
details such as Workspace ID and Channel ID.
Edit the Create Collaboration Room element, and then replace the TeamKey field value with
the Slack workspace ID.
Set a default name for the new Slack channels. The flow evaluates the ChannelNameFormat
variable to determine the default names for new channels.
Replace the default ChannelPrefix and ChannelNameFormat variable values, if necessary
.
Customize the flow according to your business requirements, and then save your
changes.
Activate the flow.
Next, create a quick action to invoke the flow.
