Notify Slack Users with @Mentions in Salesforce

Get the attention of swarm members in Slack with @mentions supported from the Slack Conversations component in Lightning Experience. @Mention Slack users that are part of your workspace and see if they’re marked as active or away in Slack. And, to make your conversations look and feel more like Slack, Slack channel and emojis @mentions are also supported from the Slack Conversations component.

Where: The Service Cloud for Slack app works with Service Cloud in Lightning Experience for Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions. Available for use where approved by a workspace admin and installed in Slack.

Who: Users must have a permission set with these permissions: Connect Salesforce with Slack and Slack Service User. Specific features require more permissions. See Set Up Swarming User Permissions.

How: To @mention a Slack user in your workspace, enter @ followed by their name in Slack. To @mention a Slack channel, enter # followed by the channel name, To @mention an emoji, enter : followed by the emoji name.
