          Approve or Reject a Request in Slack

          If you’re an assigned approver, you can approve or reject a request from within a Slack workspace.

          Required Editions

          To respond to an approval request in Slack: Read on the associated record
          1. Under Apps in the Slack sidebar, click Salesforce for Slack.
          2. On the Messages tab, view your approval requests.
          3. Click Approve or Reject.

          Slack updates the request message by replacing the Approve and Reject buttons with a confirmation message. Click Show More to see the request details.

          For multiple-step approvals, you can manually choose the next approver. When you approve the request in Salesforce, you’re prompted to select the next approver. If you approve the request in Slack, a message notifies you to log in to Salesforce to select the next approver.

          Note An approver can also approve or reject a request from within Salesforce, which then posts a notification on the Salesforce for Slack app's Messages tab in Slack. When you click the Approve or Reject button on a request message, the message updates to inform you that another user already processed the request.
