          How to add a new quick action button and associate the button to a Slack Record Layout.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
          User Permissions Needed
          To connect Salesforce for Slack to a Salesforce org: Connect Salesforce with Slack

          Create a Quick Action Button and Associate it to a Slack Record Layout.

          1. From Setup, in the Object Manager, select Lead, and then Button, Links and Actions.
          2. Click New Action.
          3. On the New Action page, for Action Type, select Create a Record.
          4. For Target Object, select Note.
          5. In the Name field, enter Add_Note.
          6. In the Success Message Field, enter Success!.
          7. Save your changes.
          8. Then save the configuration page for the new quick action button after it appears.
          9. Now it's time to associate your quick actions to your Slack Record Layout. From Setup, in the Object Manager, select Lead, and then select Slack Record Layouts.
          10. Select a layout to associate your quick actions button to. If there’s no Slack Record Layout, see Create a New Slack Record Layout.
          11. Click Edit
          12. To find the Assign Actions window, Click Next and then Next. Move New Note to the Selected list of quick actions.
          13. Click Next and Done.
