Disconnect Slack from Salesforce

This page covers the admin procedures for disconnecting a Slack app from Salesforce and removing Salesforce user mappings and associations from a Slack app.

Disconnect a user's Salesforce account from Slack by deleting the user mapping. This action disconnects all Slack apps from the Salesforce account. To disconnect Slack from Salesforce, complete these steps.

  1. In Salesforce, click the user icon in the upper right corner to open the user profile menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. In the navigation panel, select Slack User Mappings.
  4. Open the menu for the Slack user, and select Delete.
  5. In the confirmation box, select Delete.

Remove a Slack app from a Workspace

Delete a Slack app from a workspace to remove all user mappings and Salesforce association with the app. This is useful if you want to connect the app to a different org or reset mappings. To remove an app, complete these steps.

  1. In Slack, on the About tab of the app, click Configuration.
  2. In the Slack App Directory in your browser window, select Remove App.
  3. In the confirmation box, click Remove App.
