Disconnect Slack from Salesforce
This page covers the admin procedures for disconnecting a Slack app from Salesforce and removing Salesforce user mappings and associations from a Slack app.
Disconnect a user's Salesforce account from Slack by deleting the user mapping. This action disconnects all Slack apps from the Salesforce account. To disconnect Slack from Salesforce, complete these steps.
- In Salesforce, click the user icon in the upper right corner to open the user profile menu.
- Select Settings.
- In the navigation panel, select Slack User Mappings.
- Open the menu for the Slack user, and select Delete.
- In the confirmation box, select Delete.
Remove a Slack app from a Workspace
Delete a Slack app from a workspace to remove all user mappings and Salesforce association with the app. This is useful if you want to connect the app to a different org or reset mappings. To remove an app, complete these steps.
- In Slack, on the About tab of the app, click Configuration.
- In the Slack App Directory in your browser window, select Remove App.
- In the confirmation box, click Remove App.
