Setting Up Sales Cloud for Slack App Notifications

Set up record reminders, and activate sales and feed channel notifications. First, decide which Sales Cloud for Slack reminders and notifications that you want to set up. Then activate flows for those notifications using the Salesforce feature Flow Builder.

   Sales Cloud for Slack notifications are sent using Flow Builder. When you turn on Sales Cloud for Slack, we add a flow to Salesforce for each Sales Cloud for Slack notification. First, review the available notifications and choose the ones that you want to activate for your Sales Cloud for Slack users. Next we show you how to activate the flows that you chose.

5. Customize the Message of a Sales Channel Notification
   You can create sales channels in Slack from the Sales Cloud for Slack app. After creating the sales channel, open it and invite members. These channels send automated messages on a timeline you customize or in response to changes in records. You can change the message they send out by modifying notification types and the flows that send them.
6. Manage the Time Frame in Sales Channel Notification Flows
   Sales channels send automated messages on a preconfigured time frame. This time frame is preconfigured on the three flows we provide with Sales Cloud for Slack. To use a different time frame, you modify the notification flow.
