Staying Informed with Feed Channels

Slack isn’t only for chatting. Feed channels keep you in the loop about the deals that are most important to your company. To get started, join the #deals-to-watch and #deals-won channels. Feed channel members are notified when changes are made to qualifying Salesforce opportunities. If you can’t find these channels, ask your sales manager or Salesforce admin whether they’ve been set up for you or whether your admin gave them different names.

The deals to watch feed channel notifies members when a Salesforce opportunity within a certain probability and amount range is created or updated. Salesforce admins can customize the probability percentage and range that triggers notifications.

The deals won feed channel notifies members when the probability of a Salesforce opportunity is updated to 100. If you are using the default settings for the Stage field, probability is updated to 100 when the field is set to Closed Won.
