In Salesforce channels, you can get a teammate’s attention by mentioning them. When you mention a teammate, they see a notification in the corresponding Salesforce channel in Slack.
To keep conversations organized, reply to a message in a thread.

Use an emoji reaction to quickly reply to a message without words. An emoji reaction can often replace the need for a follow-up message.

If you send a message but notice it’s not quite right, you can edit or delete it.
