To add an Individual or a Corporate type member to a group, use these ways:
- Click Add Member on the Group Members related list on a Group type Loyalty Program Member record.
- Click Add Member to Group on the Associated Groups related list on an Individual or a Corporate type Loyalty Program Member record.
- From the App Launcher, find and select Loyalty Program Group Member Relationships. Click New.
When adding a member to a group, provide these details:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Group | The group to which you intend to add the Individual or Corporate member. |
| Loyalty Program Member | The Individual or Corporate member you intend to add to a group. Ensure that the member and the group are part of the same loyalty program. |
| Contribution Percentage | The percentage of points that a member intends to transfer to the group. Members can contribute up to 100% of their points across all groups that they’re a part of. |
| Member can redeem group points | This field is optional and not used. Admins can customize your company's instance of Loyalty Management to use this field to indicate which members can redeem points from the group. |
A member can be added to a maximum of 100 groups.
Members can view the details of the groups they’re a part of in the loyalty program site created using the Loyalty Member Portal template. On the Member Groups related list on a member's Loyalty Program Member record, the member can open their groups' records and review the group details.
- View the Name of a Group Member
The Member Name field of the Loyalty Program Group Member Relationship object stores the contact or account name of a group's Individual or Corporate member. Admins must provide access to users to view the Member Name field; by default, users don’t have the permission to view this field.
