          Manage Rebates and Incentives Within Sales Processes

          Craft better deals and make the right incentive decisions within your existing sales and Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) processes. Account managers, sales teams, dealers, distributors, and rebate managers can better visualize an account’s rebate attainment, view projected rebate amounts on transactions, make informed decisions, and better negotiate deals. They can view rebates an account is earning from in the context of a sales transaction, or select eligible rebate types and add them to the transaction. All applicable incentives are visible in the context of the transaction be it a Quote, Opportunity, Order, Sales Agreement, Contract, or any other transaction.

          • Eligible and Applied Rebate Types on a Transactional Object
            Account managers can view rebate types that are eligible for or applied to a target record, such as a Sales Agreement, Contract, or Quote, directly within the sales process. The Program Rebate Types panel provides real-time visibility into incentives, helping users drive larger deals by understanding potential and confirmed payouts.
          • Supported Objects for the Program Rebate Types Panel
            Use the Program Rebate Types panel to integrate incentive data into your standard sales and Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ) processes. The panel provides visibility into eligible rebates, projected amounts, and benefit tier progress.
          • Map Fields for Eligible and Applied Rebate Types
            To view eligible and applied rebate types on a record, you must map the fields of your target object with fields in the Transaction Journal using the ObjectHierarchyRelationship metadata API. If these mappings are not defined, the Eligible tab shows all integratable rebate types regardless of criteria, and the Applied tab remains empty.
          • Create a Screen Flow to Add Rebate Types to a Sales Agreement
            Design a screen flow to automate the business process of adding eligible rebate types to a target record, such as a Sales Agreement. Account managers can select multiple rebate types from the Eligible tab of the Program Rebate Types panel and confirm the selections by adding the associated account to a rebate program. Using a flow ensures that reference records are created systematically, linking the transaction to the correct incentives.
          • View and Apply Eligible Rebate Types
            Account managers can use the Program Rebate Types panel to identify potential incentives and add them to a transaction using the automated screen flow.
          • Modify Rebate Types in the Context of a Record
            Use the related list or the Program Rebate Types tab to fine-tune incentives during negotiations.
          • View the Rebates and Incentives Attainment Snapshot on Accounts
            Equip account managers and channel partners with rebate insights to maximize earnings and create mutually beneficial deals. The Program Rebate Types panel on an account displays progress against enrolled programs based on the current date.
