            Set up Asset Interactive Hierarchy

            Set up Asset Interactive Hierarchy to provide asset hierarchy capabilities and view an extended hierarchy of assets on the console and on the mobile.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Automotive Cloud, Communications Cloud, Consumer Goods, Energy and Utilities Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Media Cloud. View edition availability.

            Hierarchy Tab Setup 

            Set up the Hierarchy tab on the asset record page or drag the component to any section.

            1. To configure Asset Interactive Hierarchy on Desktop, from Setup, go to Lightning App Builder (LAB) to edit the Asset record page, or click Edit Page on the Asset record page to access LAB.
            2. In the Tabs component properties, select the Asset Hierarchy component and drag it onto an existing tab or create a custom tab. See Add Components as Custom Tabs in a Lightning Experience App.
            3. To configure Asset Interactive Hierarchy on mobile, configure the Mobile and Lightning action on the asset layout page.
              1. From Setup, go to Object Manager.
              2. Enter Asset in the Quick Find box and select Asset.
              3. Go to Page Layouts and select the name of the asset page layout.
              4. On the Asset Layout page, select Mobile and Lightning Actions.
              5. Drag the Asset Hierarchy action to the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section.
