Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Automotive Cloud, Communications Cloud, Consumer Goods, Energy and Utilities Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Media Cloud. View edition availability.
User Permissions Needed
To enable service agent to use Book Service Appointment: Field Service Agent
To create service resource users for work allocation based on slots: Field Service Resource

Create service agents, service territories, operating hours, service resources, and scheduling policies required for booking appointments. See Set Up Service Territories, Operating Hours, and Shifts for Field Service.

If you need Field Service scheduling and optimization, create the appropriate Field Service permission sets. See Create Field Service Permission Sets.

Service booking slots are listed in a paginated manner with a default range of seven days per page. You can modify the default value by using the slot-window-size-input flag. Pass the flag as an input parameter to the parent container, such as Omniscript, from which the component is launched.

In Field Service Settings, the maximum days are set to 10 by default. You can change this setting.

Ensure that configurations for Work Types, Products, Price Books and Price Book Entries, Warranty Terms, Asset Warranties, Service Contracts, Contract Line Items, and Entitlements are set up.

Verify that Accounts with associated Assets and Contacts that are essential for launching Work Order Estimation are available in your Org.
