            Book Sevice Appointment Licenses and Permissions

            Review the licenses and permission sets needed for different personas to set up and use Book Service Appointment.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Automotive Cloud, Communications Cloud, Consumer Goods, Energy and Utilities Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Media Cloud. View edition availability.

            Review the licenses required to use Book Service Appointment.

            License Description
            Salesforce Field Service You must install Field Service Managed Package if you want to use Book Service Appointment.
            Book Service Appointment Enable this to access the Book Service Appointment LWC and Connect APIs used to fetch and book slots.
            Field Service Scheduling Enable this to schedule service appointments.

            Review the permission sets that each persona needs to set up and use Book Service Appointment.

            Tasks Permission Sets
            Admin: Manage all Field Service objects, including the Field Service Admin app, Field Service Visualforce pages, and logic services.

            The Field Service Admin License permission set isn’t created in the newer Salesforce org, so it doesn’t need to be assigned to users.

            Agent: Access all global actions and their related objects to create, book, and schedule service appointments.
