          Log In for the First Time

          Log In for the First Time

          Your welcome email includes your login information and a link to your company’s Salesforce org. Use what’s in the welcome email to log in for the first time.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience
          Available in: all editions
          1. Check your email for your login information.
          2. Click the link provided in the email.
            The link logs you in to Salesforce automatically.
          3. When Salesforce prompts you, set a password and choose a security question and answer.
            Important
            Important Choose a security question and answer that you can easily remember. If you forget your password or get locked out, you can answer your security question to regain access to your account.
          4. If you’re prompted to set up a verification method, see Register an Identity Verification Method for Salesforce Orgs. By default, multi-factor authentication is required when logging in.

          If you don’t receive your welcome email or have another issue with logging in for the first time, contact your Salesforce admin. How you contact your admin depends on your company’s internal business policies and practices.
