Biometric Login

Set up biometric login so that your users can log in to your Mobile Publisher for Experience Cloud app using face or fingerprint recognition. Enable User Opt-In Biometric Login (beta) to give your users the choice of logging in with biometric credentials instead of their username and password. Enable mandatory Biometric ID App Unlock to require users to log in with biometric credentials.

• User Opt-In Biometric Login
  With User Opt-In Biometric Login, your Mobile Publisher for Experience Cloud app users can easily and securely log in to your app using face or fingerprint recognition.
• Enable User Opt-In Biometric Login
  To enable and configure User Opt-In Biometric Login, enter custom attributes to your Mobile Publisher for Experience Cloud app’s external client app.
• Enable Mandatory Biometric ID App Unlock for iOS and Android
  When using Mobile Publisher, you can apply biometric ID credentials to make your environment more secure. To use biometric ID credentials, your device must have a device passcode or PIN enabled and FaceID (for iOS) or Android Security and Privacy | Biometrics.
• Set Time Value for Biometric Login
  By default, users must reenter biometric ID credentials when the app is in the background for more than 15 minutes. You can set your own time value requirement by adding a custom attribute. The value that you set applies to both User Opt-In Biometric Login (beta) and Biometric ID App Unlock.
