Let’s say you have a report that shows Banking industry Accounts in California, Arizona, and Nevada with an annual revenue above $1,000,000.00. Now you want to visualize this report for your team with a pie chart. Here’s how you do that.
- In Lightning Experience, click the Dashboards tab. Or, in Salesforce Classic, click the Reports tab.
- Click New Dashboard.
- In Lightning Experience, click + Component. Then, select a report, and display it as a donut chart. Or, in Salesforce Classic, click the pie chart icon in the Components tab and drag it to one of the columns in the layout. Then, click the Data Sources tab and expand the report list, find your report, and drag and drop it on the pie chart.
- Add a title for your chart.
- Click Save.
