          Manage Promotions

After promotions are activated and running, marketing managers can track the usage of promotions among customers and loyalty program members. Marketing managers can also easily replicate seasonal promotions and promotions that run multiple times a year.

          • Ways to Track Customers' Usage of Promotions
After customers start using promotions, marketing managers can track the usage of promotions among customers. Marketing managers can track customers' promotion usage only when the company uses the Transaction Journal Execution API to update customers' promotion reward details in Salesforce.
          • Clone Promotions with Global Promotions Management
Marketing managers can clone seasonal and repetitive promotions. For example, if a promotion that ran during Christmas last year does well, the marketing manager can clone last year’s promotion, make changes for the current year, and activate the promotion. Cloning promotions is particularly useful when marketing managers want to run similar promotions at different times of the year.
          • View Promotions Created by Team Members
Some companies have multiple marketing managers responsible for creating promotions for different business lines. In these scenarios, the marketing managers can view the promotions created by their team members, but they can edit only the promotions that they created. Along with the marketing managers, senior executives can also review all promotions created by their team. The Loyalty Promotion View Only permission set provides users access to view a promotion and its configuration.
