            Install the Managed Package

            Add Privacy Center by installing the managed package.

            Required Editions

            Available in: all editions
            User Permissions Needed
            To install the managed package: ModifyAllData and PrivacyCenter

            With Privacy Center you can manage how customer data is stored, deleted, and transferred in Salesforce. To perform these functions, Privacy Center permissions override field-level security. Carefully choose which users have access to your Privacy Center setup.

            To install the Privacy Center managed package:

            1. In the Product Specific Terms sections of your order form, copy the URL for the Privacy Center managed package.
            2. In Salesforce, replace the path contents at the end of the URL (after Host name) with the path in the link provided. Press Enter.
            3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the managed package.
              Be sure to grant access and permission to users according to your company’s policies.
            4. Click Install. A message describes the progress and a confirmation message appears after the installation is completed.
