A loyalty event constitutes any member activity that creates a transaction journal. For
example, member purchases, social media posts, app downloads, voucher redemptions are all tracked
and processed in Loyalty Management as events. Loyalty events also include events performed by
automated processes or service reps and not directly performed by members like point expiration,
qualifying points, and manual points adjustment.
