Manage Loyalty Program Partners
Loyalty Management enables the onboarding and managing of cross-industry program partners to increase member engagement with the loyalty program. Partnerships give your members more options to engage members and help them earn and redeem points for complementary products or services.
You can associate partners from different industries with loyalty program partners. Members can benefit from the partner and organization. Partners can be an accrual partner, a redemption partner, or both. An accrual partner rewards members with points for doing business with them. A redemption partner is where members spend their points.
You can allow a partner to link with a loyalty program membership to seamlessly access co-branded rewards. For more information about linking partners, see Link Partners With Loyalty Program Membership.
You can also add product or product categories to the loyalty program that the partner deals with. There are two types of products:
- Generic products are modeled into product categories and assigned on a category level.
- Specific products are modeled into product tables. They allow you to dive into product categories and assign selective products.
- Add a Program Partner
You can add program partners to the loyalty programs. The program partners can only be an account in the organization. - Link Partners With Loyalty Program Membership
Members can link their membership with partner accounts or partner loyalty memberships to seamlessly access co-branded rewards, such as bonus rewards or free upgrades to a higher tier. The loyalty program member and partner must belong to the same loyalty program. Linking memberships provides members with additional benefits in the home loyalty program. For example, a member staying at a hotel can get a discount on a car rental of a partner brand during the stay. - Add Products or Product Categories
Before you add products or product categories for your program partner, create products in the Product object and categories in the Categories object. - Experience Cloud Site Access for Partners
Partners often require access to view the details of a loyalty program and its rewards and members. In some cases, partners need access to update the information in the loyalty program. For example, you can provide partners access to view the active promotions that they’re part of and to create transactions where members have purchased a partner product. Based on the requirements of your partners, you can provide them with access to Loyalty Management objects from your Experience Cloud site. - Expanded Partner Management
With Expanded Partner Management, brands can bill partners for the liability that the loyalty program has accrued when members of the program purchase a partner product or service. Brands can set up a prepaid or a postpaid billing system for partners, review the value that the partner is bringing to the program, and track partner transaction history. Brands can also run joint promotions along with parnters to increase the program's appeal to members.
