If you’re using Pro Suite, you’re responsible for your Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance. Manage your compliance by enabling only HIPAA-ready
Salesforce services and features and disabling those that aren’t covered by the Business
Associate Addendum (BAA).

These features and services offered in Pro Suite Edition aren’t covered by the Business
Associate Addendum (BAA): Einstein Activity Capture, Salesforce Inbox, and Einstein Send Time
Optimization (STO).
Einstein STO is disabled by default in Pro Suite and must remain disabled for the purposes of
HIPAA compliance. Einstein Activity Capture and Salesforce Inbox are enabled by default and must
be disabled to prevent the submission or processing of Protected Health Information (PHI).
Disable Einstein Activity Capture and Salesforce Inbox
A user with the System Administrator profile must disable features and services that
aren’t covered by the BAA.
Disable Einstein Activity Capture.
From the gear icon, open Advanced Setup.
In the Quick Find box, enter Einstein Activity
Capture.
Under Einstein Activity Capture, select the Settings tab and
disable Einstein Activity Capture.
Disable Salesforce Inbox.
In the Quick Find box, enter Inbox.
Under Inbox, select Setup Assistant and disable Inbox.
