Create a New Static Resource (Managed Package)

For the managed package runtime, after you have downloaded and edited the default static resource, the next step is to bundle and upload the new static resource.

1. Create a folder on your computer and place the .html file in the folder.
2. Compress the folder into a .zip or .jar file.
3. Change the file extension to .resource.
4. Go to Setup.
5. In the Quick Find box, type static, then select Static Resources.
6. Click New.
7. Specify a Name.
8. Click Choose File, browse for and select the file, then click Open.
9. Set the Cache Control to Public.
10. Click Save.
