          Get Started with Developer Edition with Agentforce and Data Cloud

          Developer Edition with Agentforce and Data Cloud offers the same allocations as Developer Edition (Legacy). It has certain limits and guidelines for large language model (LLM) generation requests and Data Cloud usage. To use Agentforce and Data Cloud in a Developer Edition, follow a few quick steps to set up these features in the org.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Developer Edition

          When you use Agentforce in a Developer Edition, you’re limited to 150 LLM generation requests per hour. For limits and guidelines specific to Data Cloud, see Developer Edition Limits and Guidelines for Data Cloud. For allocations, see Salesforce Developer Edition Allocations.

          To create an agent, set up Data Cloud, Einstein Generative AI, and Agentforce in your Developer Edition.

          1. Set up Data Cloud.
          2. Turn on Einstein Generative AI.
          3. Turn on Agentforce.
          4. Create an agent.
            Try one of the options in Create an Agent.

          To set up your Developer Edition, Salesforce created a default user with System Administrator privileges. We recommend that you disable this user in your Developer Edition so that the only system administrator is you. See Disable the Default System Admin in a Developer Edition with Agentforce and Data Cloud

          Note
          Note Termination

          Section 10.3(ii) of the Main Services Agreement—Developer Services is replaced in its entirety with the following: “upon notice to You if Your Basic Developer Services have not been accessed by a User for forty-five (45) days.”

          Artificial Intelligence

          Salesforce will not use Your Data to train generative AI models unless You provide affirmative opt-in consent. Salesforce may access Your Data submitted to generative AI features for the following purposes, and You instruct Salesforce to process Your Data for such purposes:

          • to train predictive AI models for use by the services and features to which You have access;
          • to improve the services and features to which You have access;
          • to conduct research and development of services and features to which You will have access without additional cost; and
          • as otherwise provided in the Developer Documentation.

          You retain all ownership of your data, and Salesforce retains all ownership in and to any global predictive AI models and improvements of its services and features.

          Due to the nature of generative AI, the output that it generates may be unpredictable, and may include inaccurate or harmful responses. You are solely responsible for reviewing any generative AI output. Any generative AI output is Your Data, and You assume all responsibility for such output, including ensuring its accuracy, safety, and compliance with applicable laws and third-party acceptable use policies.

          Usage

          You understand that the above limits may be contractual in nature and therefore agree to strictly review use of the Developer Edition org and its features and enforce such limitations. Salesforce may review use of the Developer Edition org at any time through the services and if you exceed these limits, reserves the right to disable functionality in your Developer Edition org.
