Use Preference Manager to Gather Communication Preferences

Use Preference Manager to Gather Communication Preferences

As privacy law continues to define individual data rights and data use regulations, it’s important to establish consent with your customers. Use the Preference Manager app within Privacy Center to meet regulatory requirements and build trust with your customers. Securely capture their preferences for how, why, and when you can contact them.

Choose between different methods of varying complexity to create self-service forms for your customers to define their communication preferences. Host your forms on any website, and control how users are authenticated to access your forms.

          • Enable Preference Manager Permissions
To give new users access to Preference Manager in the App Launcher, enable Preference Manager permissions. You can assign Preference Manager permissions from Profiles or Permission Sets in Setup.
          • Preference Forms
Preference Manager offers two methods for creating preference forms. You can create forms that work with Apex or forms that are populated from customizable templates.
          • Preference Form Access
After you create and publish a preference form, you’re ready for customers to complete and submit it. You can host your form on an Experience Cloud site, an external website, or a static web page. After you publish the form, create tokens to give your users access to it.
          • Integrating Data 360 with Preference Manager
Create, host, and validate consent preference forms using your unified customer data.
