To use Data 360 with Preference Manager, you configure your Salesforce org for Data 360 integration. Then create dynamic subscription consent templates and preference forms based on your unified data streams, and provide secure access to these forms via static web page hosting and access tokens.
- Set Up Data 360 for Preference Manager
Stream customer consent information from Data 360 to use in Preference Manager and to ingest customer consent information from preference forms into your Salesforce org. - Create a Data 360 Subscription Consent Template and Preference Form
Create a Data 360 consent template, activate the template, and use the consent template to create a preference form. Use the form to collect consent from users for email and SMS engagement channel types. - Provide Access to Data 360 Preference Forms
Give customers access to your preference form by adding the domain where it’s hosted to the Cross-Origin Resource Sharing list. Publish the form, create tokens to give your users access to the form, and host your Data 360 preference form on a static web page. - Generate Tokens for User Contact Points
To associate consent forms with individual users, generate access tokens from email or phone contact points. Access tokens are embedded in consent form URLs, allowing users to view their personalized forms without logging in. - Validate Updates to a Data 360 Consent Preference Form
Verify that changes a customer makes to a consent preference form are correctly reflected in Salesforce Data 360.
