Add Lists in Spreadsheet Cells
Format a Quip spreadsheet cell as a bulleted list, a numbered list, or a checklist. You can include one list type per cell.

| Paste a list from a Quip document into a spreadsheet cell. | Copy the list from the Quip document, double-click a cell in the spreadsheet to edit its contents, and then use a keyboard shortcut to paste. Lists with more than one hierarchy level convert to a single level in the cell. If you don't double-click to edit a cell's contents, the list pastes into separate cells. |

Limitations for Lists in Cells
These actions aren’t supported for lists in spreadsheet cells.
- Changing horizontal text alignment in cells with lists.
- Dragging to reorder list items in a cell.
- Customizing numbering in numbered lists.
- Indenting lists in cells.
