Considerations for In-Meeting Transcription:
- For push notifications to work correctly, you must use Sales Cloud Mobile. Otherwise, you need to manually go to the event in Sales Cloud Mobile to start transcription.
- You must start the transcription while the meeting is active. The option disappears after the meeting time expires.
- The meeting audio is processed locally and is never recorded or stored. Only the text transcript is saved.
- As transcripts are stored locally during that login session, they’ll be lost if and when the user logs out of their account. When you log out of your account, transcripts from previous meetings won’t be accessible.
- Speaker assignment isn’t required to save the transcript and sync with ECI.
- Although transcription works offline, saving the transcript requires an internet connection.
- In-Meeting Transcription is only supported on iPads on M4 chip or newer .
- The locale of the device determines the language of the transcription.
- In-Meeting Transcription supports these languages: Arabic, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Dutch, English (Australia), English (England), English (India), English (Ireland), English (New Zealand), English (Scotland), English (US), French (Canada), French (France), German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (US)
