            Database Connectors

            Use these connectors to sync data from your external database services to Salesforce Data Pipelines.

            Amazon Athena Connection
            • Standard authentication (Root)
            • AWS Identity Access Management (IAM)
            		 For Root authentication, the connector uses AwsRootKeys for the AuthSchema value. For granular access to AWS data, use IAM authentication, setting up IAM users and roles in AWS.
            Amazon RDS Connection (Oracle) Username and password

            Available connectors:

            • AWS RDS Aurora MySQL
            • AWS RDS Aurora PostgreSQL
            • AWS RDS MariaDB
            • AWS RDS MySQL
            • AWS RDS PostgreSQL
            • AWS RDS SQL Server
            Amazon Redshift Connection Username and password Before you create an Amazon Redshift connection, make sure that the Redshift cluster that you’re connecting to is SSL enabled.
            Databricks Connection Personal access token (PAT) M2M (OAuth) is scheduled for Winter '26 release.
            Google BigQuery Standard SQL Connection Private key and client email Use the Google BigQuery for Legacy SQL Connection instead of this connector if using legacy SQL.
            Google BigQuery for Legacy SQL Connection Private key and client email Use the Google BigQuery Standard SQL Connection instead of this connector if using standard SQL or when querying partitioned tables.

            Heroku Postgres Connection Username and password  
            Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics Connection Azure DW JDBC username and password  
            Microsoft Azure SQL Database Connection Username and password To connect to Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics or a dedicated SQL pool (formerly SQL DW), add a Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics Connection instead of this one.
            SAP HANA Cloud Connection Username and password There are two connector options, this SAP HANA Cloud Connection and the legacy SAP HANA Connection.
            Snowflake Connection
            • Username and password
            • OAuth
            • Username, private key, and private key passphrase
            		 To use the Snowflake connector with an OAuth connection, you must configure Snowflake, Salesforce, Data Pipelines, and an external OAuth authorization server. You can’t use a custom authorization provider.
            Snowflake VPC Connection
            • Username and password
            • OAuth
            		 To use the Snowflake VPC connector, in Setup, configure an outbound network connection, external credential, and named credential. This connector supports OAuth 2.0 for authentication, which requires additional setup steps in Snowflake and the Salesforce credentials. You must configure your Snowflake for Private Link.

              Sync Amazon Athena to Salesforce Data Pipelines by creating a remote connection.
            • Amazon RDS Connection
              Create a remote connection using one of the Amazon RDS connectors to bring data managed on the Amazon Relational Database Service into Salesforce Data Pipelines.
            • Amazon Redshift Connection
              Create a remote connection using the Amazon Redshift connector to sync data from Amazon Redshift to Salesforce Data Pipelines.
            • Databricks Connection
              Sync Databricks to Salesforce Data Pipelines by creating a remote connection.
            • Google BigQuery Standard SQL Connection
              Bring your large volumes of Google BigQuery data with standard SQL support into Salesforce Data Pipelines using the Google BigQuery Standard SQL connector.
            • Google BigQuery for Legacy SQL Connection
              Create a remote connection using the Google BigQuery connector to sync data from Google BigQuery to Salesforce Data Pipelines.
            • Google Cloud Spanner Connection
              Create a remote connection using the Google Spanner connector to sync data from Google Cloud Spanner to Salesforce Data Pipelines.
            • Heroku Postgres Connection
              Create a remote connection using the Heroku Postgres connector to sync Heroku Postgres data to Salesforce Data Pipelines.
            • Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics Connection
              Create a remote connection using the Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics connector to sync data from Azure Synapse Analytics or dedicated SQL pool (formerly SQL DW) to Salesforce Data Pipelines. To connect to SQL databases on Azure, add an Azure SQL Database Connection instead of this one.
            • Microsoft Azure SQL Database Connection
              Create a remote connection using the Microsoft Azure SQL Database connector to sync data from Microsoft Azure SQL Database to Salesforce Data Pipelines. To connect to Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics or a dedicated SQL pool (formerly SQL DW), add a Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics connection instead of this one.
            • SAP HANA Cloud Connection
              Create a remote connection using the SAP HANA Cloud connector to sync data from cloud-based SAP HANA to Salesforce Data Pipelines.
            • Snowflake Connection
              Create a remote connection using the Snowflake connector to sync data from Snowflake to Salesforce Data Pipelines. This connector supports private key or OAuth 2.0 for authentication. Using OAuth 2.0 requires additional setup steps in Snowflake and the Salesforce credentials.
            • Zendesk Connection
              Create a remote connection using the Zendesk connector to sync data from Zendesk to Salesforce Data Pipelines.
