Create a Custom Report Type to View Related Record Details
Create a custom report type so that you can generate reports with information about records related to survey invitations and responses.

Survey invitations and responses can be related to many different Salesforce objects through the Survey Subjects object, so create a custom report type that's based on any object that Survey Subjects supports, such as Account, Case, or Contact. For example, create a report type based on cases and use it to generate reports that help you analyze customer satisfaction scores when support cases close.
- In Setup, enter Report Types in the Quick Find box, then click Report Types.
- If prompted, click Continue.
- Click New Custom Report Type.
- For the primary object, select an object supported by survey subjects, such as cases.
- Enter the identification and deployment settings and then click Next.
- Create a relationship from the primary object, cases, to survey subjects.
- Create a relationship from survey subjects to survey responses.
- Create a relationship from survey responses to survey question responses.

Save your changes.
The report type contains information about the invitations, responses, and associated records. Now, add the question names to the report.
- Select your new custom report type and then click Edit Layout.

From the View menu, select Survey Question Responses Fields, and
then click Add fields related via lookup.
Tip Use the Survey Subject lookup fields to add more information about participants, such as email ID. - Click Question, and select Question Name.
- Click OK.
- Save your changes.
