            Translate Surveys With Generative AI

            Unlock insights from a global audience by using generative AI to translate surveys into different languages.

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with the Einstein for Service add-on
            Available with the Feedback Management - Starter and Feedback Management - Growth licenses

            To use generative AI to translate surveys, first turn on Einstein Generative AI.

            Enable AI-Generated Surveys

            Allow your users to translate surveys using Generative AI.

            Required Editions

            User Permissions Needed
            To enable AI-Generated Surveys:
            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Survey, and then select Survey Settings.
            2. Enable AI-Generated Surveys.

            Define Configurations for AI-Translated Surveys

            Select the settings to activate the preferences for translating surveys with Generative AI.

            Required Editions

            To define configurations for AI-Translated Surveys
            • Scoring Framework Admin
            • Manage Natural Language Process Results
            1. From Setup, search for and select Industries AI Setup in the Quick Find box.
            2. Click New Use Case Configuration.
            3. To translate surveys using generative AI, select Translation AI as the Configuration Type.
            4. Enter a configuration label and a description.
            5. Save the configuration.
            6. Click Set Up and accept the terms of use.
            7. From the dropdown, select Agree.
            8. Save and activate the configuration.

            Translate a Survey Using Generative AI

            Translate surveys into different languages using generative AI, ensuring broader accessibility among diverse audiences.

            Required Editions

            User Permissions Needed
            To translate a survey using generative AI:
            1. On the record page for the activated survey that you want to translate, click the Languages tab.
            2. Next to your chosen language, click Translate. Acknowledge the disclaimer message for Einstein.
            3. To translate the text of an individual field, click Translate text icon next to the field. To translate all texts simultaneously, click Translate Page. You can edit the translated text if you want.
            4. Translate the survey name, pause message, survey questions, answer choices, and thank you page messages. You can translate only the text provided by the survey creator and the static merge field text.
              Important
              Important Merge field content that’s inserted based on field values from Salesforce records can’t be translated.
            5. Save your work.
