          Manage Transaction Journal and Loyalty Ledgers

          Learn how to manage Transaction Journal and Loyalty Ledger records.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience in EnterprisePerformance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions that have Loyalty Management enabled.

          Delete Records

          You can only delete Transaction Journal and Loyalty Ledger records using SOAP API. If you want to delete a transaction journal, you must delete its associated Loyalty Ledger records first. The ledgers associated with a transaction journal aren’t deleted when the transaction journal is deleted. The ledgers aren’t automatically deleted to ensure that the associated member’s points balance and the program’s liability are correctly calculated.

          For standard users, the Transaction Journal related list on a Loyalty Program record isn't loading.

          The related list doesn't load because the standard user accessing the Loyalty Program record doesn't have access to the Transaction Journal records

          • If users aren’t required to view Transaction Journal records from the Loyalty Program record, remove the Transaction Journal related list from the Loyalty Program page layout.
          • Provide standard users access to the Loyalty Program Member records of members whose related Transaction Journal records you want the user to view.

            Users automatically have access to the related Transaction Journal records of a member whose record they have access to.

          You want users to experience optimal performance when they open the Transaction Journals list view page.

          The user experience is optimal when users view Transaction Journal records by using:

          • Recently Viewed list view.
          • Custom list views created by admins.

            Admins can add filters in custom list views to ensure that users can view the most relevant records.

          You want users to experience optimal performance when they open the Loyalty Ledger list view page.

          The user experience is optimal when users view Loyalty Ledger records by using:

          • Recently Viewed list view.
          • Custom list views created by admins.

            Admins can add filters in custom list views to ensure that users can view the most relevant records.
