Common Rebate Type Configurations
Use different rebate types to reward members based on sales volume, revenue targets, or growth.
Required Editions

Volume-Based Rebate Type
Reward members for attaining specific sales volumes. Partners receive incremental benefits for achieving higher quantity thresholds. The rebate for a payout period depends on the transaction quantity.
- Example:
- Amount per unit: Offers a $2 rebate per unit when the transaction quantity is less than 1000 units and a $3 rebate per unit when the transaction quantity exceeds 1001 units.
- Percentage of revenue: Offers a 2% rebate on total revenue when the transaction quantity is less than 5000 units and a 5% rebate when the transaction quantity exceeds 5000 units.
- Calculation Type: Aggregate Based
- Measure Type: Amount per Unit or Percentage of Revenue
- Measure Field: Quantity
- Calculation Method: Retrospective or Stepped
Revenue-Based Rebate Type
Reward members for attaining specific revenue targets. Partners receive incremental benefits for attaining higher revenue thresholds. The rebate for a payout period depends on the transaction amount. For example:
- Example:
- Amount per unit: Offers a $2 rebate per unit when the transaction amount is less than $10,000 and a $3 rebate per unit when the transaction amount exceeds $10,001.
- Fixed amount: Offers a fixed rebate of $500 when the total transaction amount exceeds $10,000 for the Compactor product category.
- Calculation Type: Aggregate Based
- Measure Type: Amount per Unit or Fixed Amount
- Measure Field: Revenue
Growth-Based Rebate Type
Reward your partners for annual growth in revenue or volume of sales. Partners receive incremental benefits for attaining higher growth thresholds. The volume or revenue for a specific payout period is compared with the values for the same period the previous year.
- Example:
- Percentage of revenue: Offers a 2% rebate on the current revenue when the growth quantity exceeds 10,000 units.
- Fixed amount: Offers a $500 rebate when the annual revenue growth is less than 6%. and a $1000 rebate when the annual revenue growth exceeds 6%.
- Calculation Type: Growth Based
- Measure Field: Revenue or Quantity
Flat Rebates
Reward your partners with a flat rebate for attaining specific thresholds. Use this rebate type when you don’t want to scale your payouts.
- Example:
- Fixed amount: Offers a $10 rebate per transaction for the Compactor products, and a $20 rebate per transaction for the Hammer products.
- Percentage of revenue: Offers a rebate of 10% of the current revenue for all transactions after the total quantity exceeds 1200 units.
- Calculation Type: Per Transaction or Aggregate Based
- Measure Type: Fixed Amount or Percentage of Revenue
